Wall vs Double-Sided
Wall units go against walls and have one shelving face. Double-sided units stand in the middle of the store with shelves on both sides, creating aisles.
Height Matters
7 ft is the standard for bodegas and convenience stores. 8 ft maximizes SKU but requires step stools for top shelves and works best in larger stores.
Aisle Width
Leave at least 36" between gondola rows for customer traffic. 48" is better for stores with carts. ADA-compliant minimum is 36".
